I just took delivery of a 520XI model 73542 year 2004. I look forward to this site for great information.

hello mark, nice looking rig, hope it works out well for you. having a couple of horses myself, its the bones of this unit that can make it live on. a few things you might do.

change rear end oil
engine oil, filter
I like rotella, lots of zink , quiet running
lube the cables for smooth usage

get after any possible wire chafing
use dielectric grease at every wire contact point, fuse plug in
303 protectant will make and keep this fresh looking
regularly drop and clean your mower deck, spray down with fluid film
