https://www.amazon.com/Mounted-Bearing- ... ge+bearing

recently replaced steering column bearing on the 310, the over all very tight angled work area only added to the problem. looked at many options and came up with a (2 bolt flange 3/4" id bearing ) for 8 $ on amazon.mounted the bearing under the bearing shelf for more room . drilled two 3/8" holes for bolts with washers and elastic nuts, like power steering. by the way getting off the wheel was not a nightmare , get help to push against side of wheel , so your impact with a chisel holder to hold 5/16" flat punch is not wasted, also use a 3 lb. hammer. reinstall wheel pin with never seize, as I tightened up the dash frame the overall strength the flanged bearing made was impressive and you can now grease it ! , what a concept. also changed the 6" front wheels to the old 8" type , its so smooth and solid to drive now, it honestly steers without effort. make them last, pete
