I am in procress of restoring a 1979 c-141 wheelhorse tractor, My questions are following----What kind & what weight oil goes in auto transaxe.
Also what kind & what weight oil goes in hydraulic cylinder.

From the lubrication chart the transmission uses SAE 10W-30 or SAE 10W-40 engine oil. The hydraulic lift operates off the same hydraulic pump as the transmission so uses the same oil source.

If you belong to any of the Yahoo Wheel Horse manuals Groups the lubrication chart is at the top of the tractor list in each Group. The 1979 tractors are in
