I have a 1979 c-121 Automatic tractor A.K.A 91-12KSO1
Im having trouble with the trans.I think? When I put it in the forward position it dosent have the power or speed it normaly has and the motor seems to labor more than usual,
When I put it in the reverse position it barely moves I checked the fluid and its full and clean
I checked the linkage that controls forward and reverse and it all seems to be fine.
could the Hydro pump be the problem or maybe trans axel.?

Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Rich

You can download a Sundstrand manual with a trouble shooting section in it from
https://lookup3.toro.com/request/request.cfm
Enter your 91-12KS01 (01=numbers) model number and type none in the serial # box.

Took mine out to plow last week and as soon as I got a load of snow on her she bogged down.I got off ,lifted the seat panel and turned the valve on top of the hydro 180 degrees and off I went.I forgot that I had turned the valve in order to push her around my shed! ????

Check the belt: PTO to tranny, gets stiff, hard, smooth and slips in Winter, especially if old (belt spray, is temporary fix).
