What is the model number of your deck? Or what is it's width of cut, side or rear discharge and how many blades?

Not sure of the model number off the top of my head.

BUT...

Triple Blade Rear Discharge. I believe somewhere in the vicinity of 36 inches.

There is a pin and mechanism that connects the front of the deck to the body of the tractor that pivots back and forth.

In the rear there is a pin and it appears to slip through a U shape device.

Not familiar with your model and wanted to look for a manual. The closest I can find is one for a 1986 36" rear discharge deck that is in the Files of
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/wheelhors ... rmanuals5/
The file is named "Mower Rotary 36in RD 1986 05-36XR05 OM #810402R1"
The deck listed for the 1980 models is 05-36XR01. Hope there is something in the operator manual than will help.

The drive belt listed is WH # 106533 {HA/Ax40.06"}, 6840 Gates 1/2"x40", 4L400W Napa 1/2"x40", 248-040 Stens 1/2"x40"
The spindle belt listed is WH # 106751 Replaces 105476 {HA/4Lx80.5"}, 6880 Gates 1/2"x80", 4L800W Napa 1/2"x80", 248-080 Stens 1/2"x80"
