I'm looking at buying a 1969 Raider 12. I've tried to find others similar to it for comparison but have not had much luck.

It is fully restored, everything taken apart, fixed and repainted. The engine was not rebuilt as the owner says it is fine. It's a 1969 year model with a mower deck. He wants $1300.00 for it.
I'm in the southern part of the country and based on what I see some selling for up north that price seems high but I have no idea what it costs to restore one. Any opinions much appreciated. Do you think the asking price is too high?

If you counted everything he bought to restore it, allowed something for his time, he probably has $1300 into it. Unfortunately, it's not worth that much unless you have more money than ability.

Ya really do have to restore them for the fun of it, not the profit.
