I need to replace the tines on my older Wheel Horse tiller. It has a Tecumseh engine, but I have no idea what model it is. The tines say "Canada 70 AR" on them. Could someone tell me where to find the model number of the tiller, or is the information on the tines enough to buy a replacement set. Thanks.

Post all the numbers off the engine and will see if we can identify the tiller model that way.

If it's a Tecumseh powered tiller, there's only three options.

WT-241
WT-242
WT-244

WT-241 and WT-242 used bolt on tines, part numbers 4330 and 4331 (RH and LH tines)
WT-244 used tine and tube assemblies (numbers 5400 and 5401) that were pinned to the shaft with shear pins.

I don't know of any direct replacements, your best bet is to try somewhere like Ray's Mower Shop in Boyertown PA. (610) 367-2078. I know he had a WT tiller that he was parting, give him a call and see if he still has the tines, what shape their in and if they're the ones you need. Good luck.
