Wheel Horse never published serial numbers but have recorded a few. 18225 could be a 1964-1967 serial number but not close to anything I have.

What size are the front and rear tires?

What are the numbers on the engine?

thanks for your reply, front tire size is 4.80/4.00/8 , rear tire size 6-12, the rear end says uni-drive. i puchased the motor from an old wheel horse dealer he said that it was original equipment but not sure what year. he thought the tractor was around a 1965. the numbers on the motor are HH60, IC5047D. i found a picture of a 1963 on line, looked close. i have some pictures if it would help. thank you for your help.

I have never seen any of these models so pictures for me would not help but for others - yes.

The 1968 Commando 6 model number 1-4631 used a HH-60 105047B so may have been the source of the 105047D engine.

1st number 6 = 6hp
2nd number 0 = recoil start
2nd number 5 = electric start
3rd number = model year
Special models were built to use up an excess of parts inventory

I should have included that I think the Lawn Rangers have 4" wheels on the front and 8" wheels on the rear and that is why I did not include them.
